Ivanhoe Extend Philosophy programs involve learning opportunities and competitions that focus on learning about and discussing Ethics and other elements of Philosophy, ancient to modern.
Ethics Olympiad
The Ethics Olympiad is a discussion of important ethical issues for Year 5-12 students. The events involve teams of 5 students preparing and presenting and ethical case study and then responding to teams’ and judges’ questions.

Philosophy in Public Spaces (PIPS)
Philosophy in Public Spaces is an event that aims to stimulate philosophical thinking in Year 7-12 students in response to a chosen stimulus. This program hosted by the Victorian Association for Philosophy is Schools (VAPS).

Thriving Minds Philosophy and Big Ideas Conferences
The Thriving Minds Conferences are hosted by Julie Arliss from Oxford University; they explore big ideas and philosophical questions. It gives Year 7-12 students the opportunity to engage in deep intellectual learning and discussion with peers from around Victoria.
