Giving
Since its earliest days, our School has been shaped by the generosity of those who believed in its future.
In 1919, four years after the School opened with just fourteen students, founding Principal, Reverend Sydney Buckley’s vision to expand Ivanhoe Grammar School and purchase the property on which Ridgeway Campus now stands was made possible through the support of the community. That act established a tradition which continues to define Ivanhoe Grammar School today – a shared belief in the value of investing in the generations who follow.
Why giving matters
Philanthropy enables Ivanhoe Grammar School to go further – creating opportunities and experiences beyond the everyday, strengthening learning experiences, and creating environments where all students can thrive – regardless of their background or financial circumstances.
Your support shapes what comes next.
Ways to give
There are several ways you can actively support current and future students of Ivanhoe.
Annual Giving – An annual call for support for scholarships, learning resources and facilities.
Fidelis Society – A legacy society that recognises those who have chosen to include Ivanhoe Grammar School in their Will
Ridgeway Club – Led by our Principal Gerard Foley, this group of committed supporters make an annual gift to support the School’s most important strategic priorities.
School Archives – Support the preservation of Ivanhoe Grammar School’s rich history, to help us ensure our stories and mementos of the past are safeguarded for future generations.
Staff Giving – Enabled by our staff, this scholarship provides one student each year with an Ivanhoe Grammar School education.
