Ivanhoe Swim
Swimming lessons are available to the general public at Ivanhoe Grammar School’s Sports and Aquatic Centre. You can enjoy an outstanding Swim Program in our beautiful, state-of-the-art pool, with experienced swimming teachers. We have a Learn to Swim Program and a great swimming club.
Learn to Swim
Our Learn to Swim Program is for children aged one year and above, teenagers and adults. We teach survival skills as well as stroke technique.
Lesson times
Lessons run for 30 minutes each week during the school term at the following times.
- Monday, Wednesday and Thursday between 4pm – 7pm
- Tuesday and Friday between 4pm – 6.30pm
- Saturday classes will run between 8.30am – 11.30am

Costs
Lessons cost $22 per lesson, with a once-off admin fee of $22. You receive a once-off complimentary Swim Cap at your first lesson. Classes will be charged per term (or pro rate if booked after term starts).
Car parking
Our underground car park takes the hassle out of parking and protects you and your car from the weather. Entrance to the underground car park via Russell St. It is located conveniently next to our Sports & Aquatic Centre.
2024 School Holiday Swimming Program
Ivanhoe Swim School Holiday Swimming Program is open for bookings. This three-week program starts Tuesday 2 January 2024 and is for ages 3 – 17 years-old.
Ivanhoe Swim Club
Ivanhoe Swim Club is a brand-new swim club that provides an avenue for members of our squads and our Learn to Swim program to compete in Junior, District, State and National competitions.
