Ivanhoe Extend Interdisciplinary programs involve learning opportunities and competitions that combine multiple subject areas or are outside of a specific curriculum focus.

Chess

Chess is a board game which combines strategy and skill, requiring students to think critically in order to outsmart their opponent’s ‘king’ on an 8×8 grid board.

Da Vinci Decathlon

The da Vinci Decathlon is a stimulating and challenging competition run in the spirit of an Olympic Decathlon. Students compete in teams across 10 disciplines: engineering, mathematics, code breaking, art and poetry, science, English, ideation, creative producers, cartography and legacy. The competition is based on the life and legacy of Leonardo da Vinci.

FLY CSI’s Pitch Perfect programme specialises in people and communication. Students participate in intensive, experiential learning where they are given the feedback and tools to become compelling and powerful communicators and presenters.
