Peter Rule Sports Scholarship for entry into Year 10 or 11 2026

In celebration of the Opening of the Coonawarra Willam Aquatic Centre and extended sports precinct at Plenty Campus in 2025, Ivanhoe Grammar School is pleased to offer the opportunity for elite athletes to apply for the Peter Rule Sports Scholarship.

This prestigious award will initially be offered for students currently attending Ivanhoe Grammar School or new students looking to attend Ivanhoe Grammar School’s Plenty Campus. The scholarship is open to elite sporting students with strong academic credentials entering either Year 10 or Year 11 in 2026.

Applications will close at 5 pm on Wednesday 24 September 2025

The following documents must be supplied at the time of application:

1. Two written references supporting the applicants’ character and sporting achievements
2. Most recent school reports
3. Year 9 Naplan results
4. Payment of the application fee.

                  The Process:

                  1.Applications will close at 5 pm on Wednesday 24 September 2025.
                  2.Both successful and unsuccessful applicants will be notified via email by Monday 29 September 2025.
                  3.Short listed applicants will be required to attend an interview at the School.
                  4.The Admissions Office will be in touch to arrange the interview time.
                  5.Interviews will be held at Ivanhoe Grammar School in the week commencing 6 October.

                  Terms and Conditions:

                  1.The Peter Rule Sports Scholarship offer a reduction of 50% off the net tuition fees, for the duration of the student’s secondary education. All other fees and charges are payable in full.
                  2.All scholarship awards are reviewed annually and, subject to satisfactory performance on the part of recipients and payment of school fees in line with the Business Notice, are automatically renewed for the following year. In exceptional circumstances, the scholarship award may be terminated by the Principal.
                  3.Families are given 7 days from the scholarship offer to accept the Terms and Conditions of the scholarship award. An extension to this response date will not be granted.
                  4.Once the Terms and Conditions of the scholarship award are accepted, families have 2 weeks to complete the enrolment process.
                  5.The School reserves the right not to offer scholarship awards if the standard of those presenting does not warrant it doing so.
                  6.There is an expectation that the recipient of the Peter Rule Sports Scholarship will fully commit to representing Ivanhoe Grammar School in their chosen sport.
