High Achievers Scholarship for entry into VCE & IB Year 11 2025

Ivanhoe Grammar School is offering the High Achievers Scholarship, for entry into Year 11 in 2025. Please note this scholarship opportunity is open to external applicants only. International students in receipt of a student visa (subclass 500) or who require a student visa to study within Australia, are also ineligible to apply for this scholarship opportunity.
High Achievers Scholarship applications are to be submitted online. Hard-copy applications are not accepted. Currently enrolled Ivanhoe Grammar School students are not eligible to apply. Short-listed candidates will be required to attend an interview at the School.
If successful, the High Achievers Scholarship will offer up to 50% tuition fee reduction. All other fees and charges are payable in full.
The closing date for applications is 4.00pm Monday 12 August. Late applications are not accepted.
A complete online application is required. The following documents must be supplied at the time of application:
1.Completed Application Form including the personal statement
2. Most recent School Reports – (mid-year 2024 and end of year 2023 reports)
3. Year 9 NAPLAN Results
4. One (1) written Character Reference
5. $120 Application Fee
6. Completed Payment Page

Conditions
- High Achievers Scholarship offers a reduction of up to 50% of the tuition fees, for the duration of the student’s secondary education. All other fees and charges are payable in full.
- Short-listed candidates are required to attend an interview at the School.
- The School reserves the right not to offer the High Achievers Scholarship if the standard of those presenting does not warrant it doing so.
- Scholarship recipients are expected to attain a generally high academic standard and the student should be actively involved in the various co-curricular activities of the School.
- Periodic review of the scholarship will be conducted to verify satisfactory progress and participation. In exceptional circumstances the Award may be terminated by the Principal.
- If a High Achievers Scholarship is offered and accepted, the Admissions Office will guide families through the enrolment process. Families are given 7 days from the date of the Letter of Offer to finalise the non-refundable Capital Levy payment (if not already paid) and 14 days after that, a $4,900 non-refundable tuition fee deposit is invoiced. The tuition fee deposit will be deducted from the February 2025 tuition fee instalment.
