We invite students who are curious, committed and motivated to make the most of their talents and opportunities to apply for a General Excellence Award. Applications open on Monday 12 October 2026 and close at 4.00pm on Monday 14 December 2026, with shortlisted applicants invited to an interview in Term 1 2027.

We invite you to apply for a General Excellence Award

• The awards are offered for entry into Year 7, Year 9 and Year 10 in 2028.
• Applications for the General Excellence Award are open to both external applicants and currently enrolled Ivanhoe Grammar School students.
• International students who hold, or require, a Student visa (subclass 500) to study in Australia are not eligible to apply for a General Excellence Award.
• The closing date for applications is strictly 4.00pm on Monday 14 December 2026. Late applications will not be considered.
• A non-refundable application fee of $200 applies to all General Excellence Award applications. The application fee is not refundable, including in the event of an unsuccessful outcome
