High Achievers Scholarship for entry into VCE & IB Year 11 2027 – applications are open
Eligibility
- Open to external applicants only. Current Ivanhoe Grammar School students and international students holding a student visa (subclass 500) are not eligible to apply for this opportunity.
- To apply, you must be in Year 10, 2026
Required documents
- Completion of the online High Achievers Scholarship application form, including a personal statement
- Semester 1 2025 and Semester 2 2025 school reports
- Year 9 NAPLAN results
- One written character reference
- Payment of a $120 application fee
Scholarship details and conditions
- Please note this scholarship opportunity is open to external applicants only. International students in receipt of a student visa (subclass 500) or who require a student visa to study within Australia, are also ineligible to apply for this scholarship opportunity.
- For students wishing to undertake the Victorian Certificate of Education (VCE) or International Baccalaureate (IB*) at Ivanhoe Grammar School. (*Please note the IB is only offered at the Ivanhoe Campus).
- The High Achievers Scholarship provides a reduction of up to 50% of the net tuition fees for the duration of the student’s secondary education. All other fees and charges must be paid in full by the recipient.
- Short-listed candidates will be required to attend an interview at the School. Ivanhoe Grammar School reserves the right to withhold the award of the High Achievers Scholarship if the calibre of applicants does not meet the required standard.
- Recipients are expected to maintain a consistently high academic standard and participate actively in the School’s co-curricular activities. The School will periodically review each scholarship to ensure satisfactory academic progress and engagement. In exceptional cases, the Principal may terminate the High Achievers Scholarship.
- To confirm enrolment in Year 11 2027, High Achievers Scholarship recipients must pay a non-refundable $1,500 Capital Levy and a $3,500 Tuition Fee Deposit within 14 days of accepting the scholarship offer. The Admissions office will guide families through this process. The Tuition Fee Deposit will be fully deducted from the second instalment of school fees, invoiced in February 2027.
