September and October is scholarship time and we are now accepting applications for a number of scholarships for entry into the School in 2020 and 2021.
Scholarships are available to students who demonstrate academic potential or dedication to a particular field. These opportunities are made possible by the generous support of our community, including staff and alumni.
Years 10, 11 and 12 Scholarships 2020
The Senior Years Scholarship is offered to students entering into Year 10, 11 and 12 in 2020. At Ivanhoe Grammar School students have the option to undertake the Victorian Certificate of Education (VCE) or International Baccalaureate (IB)*. Please note this scholarship opportunity only open to student not currently enrolled at Ivanhoe Grammar School. Applications close 5.00pm Friday 13 September 2019.
The application process requires you to download and complete the Senior Years Scholarship Application Form (hard copy only - an electronic copy will not be accepted). Please note that shortlisted candidates may be required to attend an interview at the School.

Academic Scholarships for entry into Year 7 or 10 in 2021
Applications are now open to current Ivanhoe Grammar School students and new students interested in an Ivanhoe education. Students sit an examination which will assess thinking and comprehension skills, problem solving and reasoning. Successful applicants will be awarded remission of up to 50 per cent reduction of tuition fees.

General Excellence Awards for entry into Year 7 or 10
Applications for entry in 2020 are now closed. Applications for 2021 open in mid-November 2019.
The General Excellence Award is offered to a student with high academic potential, demonstrated leadership skills, recognised citizenship qualities and a particular talent in one or more of the following extra-curricular areas: visual arts, music, performing arts or sports.
The application process includes an interview and a referee. The Scholar will receive 50 per cent tuition fee remission for Years 7 to 12 if awarded in Year 7 or Years 10 to 12 if awarded in Year 10.
