Ivanhoe Grammar School is a place where we want all of our staff to be their best and to feel their best. Physical wellbeing is about having the health and energy to do the things you want to do and get things done daily. Physical wellbeing encompasses moving your body (exercise), eating well balanced meals (nutrition), sleeping, receiving medical and dental care. As a school that is committed to a broad education, being physically healthy is important in so many ways – to allow us to fulfil our roles to our best capacity, to role model to our students and to have the energy that will foster an engaged environment
Our School has in place various initiatives and benefits to support our physical health and wellbeing, including:
- Annual flu vaccination
- Dedicated regular wellbeing activity sessions participating in staff-run activities such as yoga and walking groups
