Swim team put on a grand display
On Friday evening, a group of sixty plus swimmers, backed up by a very supportive cheer squad, ventured to MSAC to take part in the AGSV swimming sports.
From the very start, it looked as if it would be a tight tussle as both Mentone and Ivanhoe vied for top spot on the ladder throughout the initial events. In the end, and despite a valiant effort, the School came second place in both the boys’ and girls’ competition.
Whilst there were many outstanding winners on the night, the biggest highlight was the performance of Year 7 student, Bethany Dalgleish who broke the AGSV record in three individual events! Well done Bethany.
