Student to be exhibited in the VCE Top Designs Season of Excellence

Johanna Gibbs completed Year 12 Visual Communication Design in 2016 and has been selected to showcase her work at the prestigious Top Designs exhibition at the Melbourne Museum. The annual exhibition is a showcase of over 100 student exhibitors from the three school sectors across Victoria – government, independent and Catholic.

The exhibition presents work created by students who completed VCE Media, Product Design and Technology, Food and Technology, Systems Engineering, Visual Communication and Design or Interactive Digital Media. Johanna is one of 16 students selected from hundreds of applications to have her work exhibited amongst the Visual Communication Design folios. Final presentations are accompanied by folios that contain two distinct design processes.

The Randal Marsh Award winning student produced a folio of work that included designing a new logo for the City of Darebin and a visual campaign to address the problem of trash and waste in the community.

The Top Designs exhibition will be officially launched on Friday 17 March and the exhibition will be open from Saturday 18th March to Sunday 16 July 2017 at Melbourne Museum, Carlton.

This is a wonderful achievement by a very talented student and we congratulate Johanna.
