Sport Report

The Boys’ Volleyball team had a terrific win against a strong Trinity outfit, winning three sets to one. At one set all, the match was evenly poised; however, some strong play saw us take the 3rd set 25-20 and then the final set 25-23! This win takes us to the top of the ladder and sees us well placed to be in the finals once again.

Our Girls’ Softball team had a commanding win against last year’s premiers. Caitlin Olley was terrific behind the plate, as were pitchers Georgia Black and Georgia Sands who controlled our defensive work. Allanah Banks also provided a highlight with an outstanding 3 base hit.

In an epic battle, our table tennis boys scraped home against PEGS by just one set! This win now places them in 2nd position on the ladder. Well done boys!

Also, our Touch Girls got their season going with a 1-0 win over Haileybury. The girls worked hard to keep the opposition away from the try line by communicating and defending very well. Freya Henriksen and Liv Perillo played well, and Avena Henriksen and Mia Ioannou.
