Senior Years Movie Night

On Friday 29 May Senior Years’ students assembled in Buckley Hall for a movie night to raise awareness and much needed funds for the Brotherhood of St Laurence. The movie night provided the opportunity for students who weren’t aware of local problems to get involved in something that would help change the lives of other people. More than $1100 was raised for the organisation, which aims to alleviate poverty in the suburbs of Melbourne but also to prevent it. It was great to see so many students taking a few hours out of their lives to support a deserving charity and to support programs for children, families, youth, refugees and the elderly.

The movie night provided the chance for the students to enjoy a relaxed and entertaining evening.
