School Carol Services

To celebrate the end of the year and the start of the Christmas season, each Campus held a family Christmas carols service for students, parents and staff in the final weeks of Term 4. These events were wonderful opportunities for the entire School community to come together and celebrate another great year at Ivanhoe.

The first service took place at The Ridgeway Campus on Thursday 26 November, with our Adobe String Orchestra starting the evening off. The carol service involved choir, strings and solo performances . The second service took place at Buckley House on Friday 27 November and included a lovely family picnic that was enjoyed by all. The final service at Plenty Campus was on Thursday 3 December and included a family barbecue, nativity play by Primary students as well as community singing of Christmas Carols with support from the School Choir and Orchestra. There was also a special visit from Santa.

An important part of the services was fundraising for the Christmas Appeal, which helps to fight poverty, support refugees and bring peace to areas of conflict in the world.

Thank you to the staff, students and parent groups for their hard work in planning these events.
