Primary Art Exhibition at Zart Gallery
In 2015, Year 5 students completed a unit on 3D Greek Urns. They designed and constructed their own urns using papier-mache techniques with a focus on colour, line, shapes and patterns. These impressive urns were selected for an exhibition at Zart Art Gallery.
During the term break on Thursday 23 June, Matthew Brasacchio, a Year 6 student, represented the School and proudly discussed the art process in front of other students from various schools in Melbourne. Matthew was a wonderful ambassador for the School and added a student voice to this impressive exhibition.
All of the wonderful artworks will be on display at the Zart Art Student Gallery throughout Term 3 and it is certainly is worth a visit.
