Netball Girls Maintain Unbeaten Run
In a very tense match, the Girls’ Firsts Netball team came out on top 59-55 against a very strong Geelong Grammar team. Down by 3 points at ¼ time, the girls reacted with some positive play to get to 9 up during the last quarter. However Geelong challenged again and reduced the margin to just 4 with minutes to play. The steady play in the dying minutes saw the Ivanhoe girls record a very good victory.
Ivanhoe’s Footballers moved to 2nd place on the ladder with a solid win against Assumption College, as too did the Soccer boys who had to fight hard to record a 2-1 win over Camberwell. And riding high on their 12-0 victory last week, the Hockey boys recorded an excellent 4-2 win against Marcellin.
