Middle Years Music Camp
The Middle Years Music Camp, held at the scenic Rutherford Park Country Retreat, was an enriching and rewarding experience for all involved. Students from the Locksley Symphonic Band, Locksley Singers, and Locksley Strings came together for three days of focused music-making, preparing for a series of upcoming concerts and school events.
Throughout the camp, each ensemble participated in intensive rehearsals, sectionals, and workshops, guided by our dedicated music staff. Students demonstrated excellent teamwork, commitment, and musicianship as they worked through challenging repertoire and refined their ensemble skills. Beyond rehearsals, students enjoyed the opportunity to form friendships and collaborate with peers from across the Middle Years music program, creating a strong sense of community and shared purpose.
The beautiful surroundings of Rutherford Park provided an ideal backdrop for creativity and concentration, allowing students to immerse themselves fully in the musical experience. The progress made across all ensembles was remarkable, and we look forward to sharing the results in the upcoming performances.
