Melbourne Vixens new recruit makes debut

On Sunday 3 May, Class of 2014 student Alice Teague-Neeld played her first competition with the Melbourne Vixens.

Alice was offered a contract with the netball team in 2014 and was one of the youngest signings for the Vixens since the trans-Tasman ANZ Championships began in 2008. She was also a significant contributor to the Firsts Netball team and Athletics team at the School.

Unfortunately the Vixens were defeated by one of their biggest rivals, the NSW Swifts. The Vixens website stated ‘Alice Teague-Neeld showed promise under immense pressure from the Swifts older heads.’

Despite the loss, Alice’s shooting statistics for the match were highly commendable, scoring 100% of her goals.

The School would like to congratulate Alice on a great performance and we wish her all the best for the season.
