Interschool Dressage and Show Jumping Competition

The Interschool Dressage and Show Jumping Competition was held on Sunday 16 March at the Yarrambat Pony Club Grounds. Despite the inclement weather leading up to the event, it was a lovely day, with 87 competitors in Dressage and 99 competitors in the Show Jumping, from 36 schools throughout Victoria .
,, The Ivanhoe Team comprised 13 riders from Years 4 to 11 and it was great to welcome three new Year 7 students to the team!
,, Best performances were from, Hannah Bathen – Reserve Champion in the Prix St Georges and second in the Advanced Dressage and Jorjia Adams, who was Reserve Champion in the Medium Dressage and third in the Elementary. Jess Grant placed well in both Show jumping and dressage as did Clancy Grant, Amy Cornell and Grace Szepe.
,, Other team members also had top ten places, including Tia Brullo, Michaela Bray, Isobel Pain, Lily Dobson, Amy Cornell and Edward Darby. Alice Szepe, our youngest competitor, placed in the Handy Mount and the preparatory Dressage.
