International Students at Government House
On Wednesday 15 March four of our most recently arrived ELICOS students attended a formal International Student Reception at Government House hosted by The Honourable Linda Dessau AC, Governor of Victoria. Earn, Tyler, Tom and Hinako, accompanied by Ms Leesa-Marie Spencer, were warmly welcomed by Governor Dessau in the magnificent Ball Room prior to touring some of the other stately rooms of her residence and enjoying morning tea on the lawn. The students, all of whom arrived in Melbourne only a few short weeks prior, were thoroughly delighted to have the opportunity to speak directly with Governor about their experiences studying at Ivanhoe Grammar School.
A fantastic day on all accounts!
