International Baccalaureate Visual Arts Exhibition

On Friday 10 February the International Baccalaureate Visual Arts Exhibition opened at Glen Eira City Council and runs until 26 February. The exhibition features works by talented IB graduates such as 2016 Ivanhoe graduate Sinead Kershaw Ryan. Approximately 80 works are on display with all IB schools represented.

The exhibition features a diverse and exciting range of artworks from the International Baccalaureate Diploma Program Visual Arts Course. The works on display at the exhibition provide visitors with an understanding of the different approaches and the varied work produced in this unique two year study. Contemporary sculpture, photography, painting, textiles, drawing, digital media and printmaking are included in this exhibition.

David Morrison from the IB Visual Arts Committee, Principal Gerard Foley and guest speaker Martin King, Artist and Senior Printer at Australian Print all spoke well providing guests with an insight into the breadth of the diploma. Another standout was Sinead who spoke very well about her experience of the International Baccalaureate.
