Girls’ Firsts Basketball Joint Premiership
Congratulations to the Girls’ Firsts Basketball team on their Joint Premiership! They share the Premiership with Caulfield Grammar School with just one loss each (to each other!). It is the first time we have secured the Girls’ Basketball title since the sport achieved premiership status in 2000.

Ivanhoe Grammar’s Firsts Basketball Girls’ Team had an incredible season. Rewarding them with a joint AGSV Premiership with Caulfield Grammar School. There was only one loss to each team. A massive shoutout to Georgia who was a standout all season. Despite having injuries at the start of the season from Izzy and Ella, they both stepped up and put in the hard work to help us conclude a winning season.
Congratulations to all the girls for all your hard work each week, you should all be proud of yourselves for your efforts as much as Darcy and I am.
To our Captains, Jess and Maggie, you have done a wonderful job in leading this team to its first Premiership for Ivanhoe Grammar School.
To the Year 12’s, Chloe, Jess and Maggie, Darcy and I, wish you all the best for your year 12 exams and your future endeavours.
Thank you girls for making this season a memorable one. It’s been an honour to coach you all and I can’t wait to see what the future holds for each and every one of you.
