Finalist in the Aquatic Recreation of Victoria Industry Awards

We are thrilled to announce that Ivanhoe Swim has been recognised as a finalist in the Aquatic Recreation of Victoria Industry Awards. The ARV Industry Gala Awards recognise and reward outstanding achievements and commitment to the industry.

Ivanhoe Swim has been nominated for the Swim School of the Year Award and a Teacher of People with a Disability Award. Nominee and Ivanhoe Swim Coach Aaron Richardson is delighted to be nominated for this award.

‘I am deeply honoured and grateful to be nominated for the ‘Swim Teacher of Persons with a Disability Award’ hosted by ARV Awards. Working at Ivanhoe Grammar School has been an incredible journey, and I am thankful for their unwavering support and encouragement. This nomination is a testament to the dedication and passion we share in empowering individuals through swimming. It’s a privilege to be part of such meaningful work, and I am inspired daily by the resilience and determination of my students. Thank you for this recognition—it reinforces my commitment to positively impacting the lives of those I teach,” he said.

Aquatics and Recreation Victoria (ARV) is Victoria’s peak industry body for aquatics and recreation. The 2024 ARV Industry Gala Awards will be held on 21 June 2024 at Centrepiece at Melbourne Park.

Ivanhoe Swim offers a Learn to Swim and Swim Club Program from the state-of-the-art 50m indoor Sports & Aquatic Centre at Ivanhoe Grammar School’s Ridgeway campus. Ivanhoe Swim has a comprehensive swimming program that caters from beginner to performance-oriented swimmers. Ivanhoe Swim has created an inclusive environment where swimmers have the freedom to set their own goals and are provided with the necessary support and encouragement to accomplish them.
