Equestrian Success

Equestrian Victoria hosted the NCIS Australian Young Rider Dressage Championships at Werribee Park National Equestrian Centre from Thursday 9 to Sunday 12 April. Competitions were held for riders of all levels, from Preliminary level to FEI. An exciting aspect of the event this year was the inclusion of two international classes.

This event provided a wonderful opportunity to showcase our young dressage riders and to assist them in preparing for national level competition. There were representatives from all states, including three riders from the Plenty Campus. Hannah Bathen on her horse Mayfield Thor placed first and third in the Preliminary tests and was awarded the Preliminary Jackpot Championships. Jorjia Adams placed second and fourth in the Medium Pony Championships on Carlyle Park Jetsetter and Brigitte Theuma competed in the Novice section on Gladiator’s Ghost.

The standard of competition was very high, and the School congratulates these riders who rode extremely well against some very good competition. Well done!
