Centenary Gala 2015

The Gala will be held on Tuesday 16 June at Melbourne’s premier concert venue, Hamer Hall. Featuring over 700 students from all campuses of the School, as well as Alumni, parents and staff, to celebrate the themes of belonging and internationalism, the school will pay tribute to its past, acknowledge its rich diversity and celebrate the future.

Features of the program include our Year 7 students together with our combined choirs who will perform a specially commissioned work for the School’s Centenary. Set pieces from two of our recent musicals will also be performed throughout the evening as well as ELICOS and Strings orchestra performing a piece from Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon. Year 12 students round the evening off with a special and fitting song and the evening will finish with a rousing rendition including our choirs, Year 12s and one of the Ten Tenors and Ivanhoe Alumni Class of 2002, Benjamin Clark.

The Centenary Gala is a major musical and performing arts event in the life of the school and is a must-see. Limited tickets are still available and can be purchased here: www.artscentremelbourne.com.au/whats-on/other/centenary-gala-2015
