Celebrating the Class of 2022 – IB Results

In 2022, a number of Year 12 students at Ivanhoe Grammar School chose to undertake the well-respected International Baccalaureate (IB). Alongside our students this year we welcomed twenty-five Kilmore International students to our School late in Term 3, to enable them to finish their studies and sit their IB exams. The dedication and hard work of Ivanhoe and Kilmore International students were realised today with the release of the IB results. Congratulations to all students, we are extremely proud of their achievements.

In particular, we would like to congratulate our Dux of School, International Baccalaureate (IB) Dux and Dux of The Ridgeway Campus Leia Casci who achieved an IB score of 44 and an ATAR of 99.7, placing her in the top 0.3% of the State.

Ivanhoe Grammar School IB students have once again produced an excellent set of academic results, an incredible achievement given the challenges and uncertainty they faced during their senior years of secondary school. We are very proud to share that 17% of IB students attained an ATAR of 99 or above (top 1% of the State), 47% of IB students attained an ATAR of 95 or above (top 5% of the State) and two-thirds of the IB students attained 90 or more (top 10% of the State). The IB Median ATAR is an impressive 94.6 and 94% of the IB Class of 2022 received an ATAR above 80.

Congratulations are also extended to all Kilmore International IB students for their impressive results, despite the challenging circumstances they were placed in during the year.

Following the release of the IB results today we can now share a consolidated picture of the academic outcomes and successes of the Class of 2022.
