Big Ideas Breakfast with Holly Ransom

Staff, alumni, parents and Senior Students (Year 9 – 12) are invited to breakfast with Holly Ransom, an inspirational young Australian who has been touted by US President Barack Obama as a “future PM”.

Holly is an accomplished global keynote speaker on intergenerational leadership and has just spoken at the Global Forum on Girls’ Education in New York, alongside Arianna Huffington and Gloria Steinem. In 2012, at just 22, Holly was the youngest person to be named in Australia’s “100 Most Influential Women” and in 2014 she was invited by the Prime Minister to chair the G20 Youth Summit. You can read more about Holly in the attached profile and watch her in action here.

Holly’s presentation will address gender equality in education, empowering young people to develop skills to put in place when they face challenges and encouraging young people to put themselves forward for positions of leadership.

Date: Tuesday 19 April from 7.00am – 8.30am in Buckley Hall, The Ridgeway, Ivanhoe.

Tickets: Adult $35.00, Student $25.00. RSVP by 12 April. We expect this event will sell out, so get in early to secure your seat. Tables of 10 are available or we will seat you. Click here to book your ticket
