Art Open week

Buckley House Art Studio was abuzz with excitement last week as we welcomed our families and friends as they joined in their children’s weekly art sessions. Our students worked collaboratively with their family members to learn new skills and processes to create original artworks. Projects included clay totems, paper sculptures, Indian headdresses and tepees, Massai collars, Mexican tin foil art and decorated dragons. We were so impressed with the enthusiasm and dedication shown from our students and families that it was very hard to stop and pack up. We thank everyone for their support throughout Art Open Week; we certainly enjoyed seeing so many happy faces!

The next big event on the calendar is the Buckley House Art Show in November. More information will follow closer to the date.
