At Ivanhoe Grammar School, our recruitment and selection process has been thoughtfully crafted to provide you with the opportunity to showcase your professional qualities and character. Aligned with our policies and procedures, this process encompasses several stages, ensuring a comprehensive evaluation of candidates.

In line with our commitment to child safety, children’s wellbeing, and protection from abuse, we welcome applications from candidates who either possess or are willing to acquire a current and valid employee Working with Children Check or Victorian Institute of Teaching registration.

To further support the application, we kindly request contact details for at least two verbal referees.

Our Process at a Glance

To get things started, we request candidates to complete a formal application, which will give us a better understanding of your unique skills and experiences.

Shortlisted candidates are then  invited for a face to face interview, where we’ll have the opportunity to learn more about you and how your qualities align with the position.

That’s why our final interview includes a special walking tour led by a senior leader.
