Sports Results

In an excellent performance, the Ivanhoe footballers cemented 3rd place on the ladder with a 10 goal victory against final aspirant Mentone Grammar. From the very start, the team took control of the middle and continually got the ball forward, providing Luke Bunker (3 goals), Patrick Naish (4 goals) and Max Jones (6 goals) with plenty of opportunities.

The School’s netballers continued their great start to the season defeating Geelong College by 30 goals, the boys soccer team had a good win over Trinity and Ivanhoe’s hockey team, who have been very competitive to date, recorded their best win for years when they accounted for Mentone by 12 goals!

Ivanhoe’s Rugby team, which plays in the VSRU competition, had a nail biter against Melbourne High School, winning by just one point, 46 to 45 which was a wonderful result.
