Peter Pan Jr

Students from Prep to Year 6 were involved with the spectacular production of Peter Pan Jr. Opening night was a feast of colour and movement with energetic performances by students and a wonderful set that brought to life the much-loved story of Peter Pan.

The two performances of Peter Pan Jr which took place on Wednesday 7 September and Thursday 8 September were the culmination of many weeks work. The production involved every Buckley House student from Prep – Year 6 and every teacher and staff member assisting in various capacities.

The students were outstanding in the way they applied themselves and in providing two nights of wonderful entertainment. Buckley House staff went above and beyond to assist with costumes, makeup, props, coaching and all that goes into putting on a show such as this.

The support received from the parent community was also very much appreciated. Parents were very helpful with costumes, bringing children to rehearsals, giving up Saturday afternoons, assisting with the learning of lines and many other important things which help to prepare students for the show.

The Performing Arts play an important role in each child’s education and Peter Pan Jr will have provided students with a life-long memory.
