Lincoln House Wins Swimming Trophy

This annual event is always a feast of colour and excitement and it’s fantastic to see students from Years 7 through to 12 getting into the house spirit for a day of fun and competition. Students once again rose to the challenge and sported colourful costumes in their house colours.

,,

The House program caters for students of all abilities and the emphasis is placed on participation and fun. It provides opportunities for students to enjoy success, build friendships across year levels, move outside their comfort zones and increase their sense of belonging to the school community. The House Captains and House Coordinators worked tirelessly in the lead up to the carnival to ensure that students were given every opportunity to participate in events of their choosing.

,,

The House Captains represented the School admirably and showed drive and energy that translated into a well organised and successful day that everyone enjoyed. There were some great performances from students in all four Houses, but it was Lincoln who came out on top and secured the House Swimming trophy. A whole campus event like this relies not only on hard work of House Captains and Coordinators, but also the many staff who assisted on the day, this combined effort meant that a great day was had by all.

The current standings in the House Program are:

,,

1st – Lincoln – 112 points
,, 2nd – Thoresby – 102 points
,, 3rd – Sherwood – 92 points
,, 4th – Athelstane – 81 points
