Explore the Award-Winning Coonawarra Willam Aquatic Centre During Open House Melbourne
Ivanhoe Grammar School is pleased to open the doors of the award-winning Coonawarra Willam Aquatic Centre at Plenty Campus as part of this year’s Open House Melbourne program on Sunday 26 July.
This special event offers the community a rare opportunity to explore the design, craftsmanship and purpose behind one of our most significant learning environments.
Step Inside an Award-Winning Facility
Designed by award-winning architects Peddle Thorp and constructed by Building Engineering, the Coonawarra Willam Aquatic Centre is far more than a swimming facility. It is a dynamic learning environment that supports Physical Education, Health and Humanities programs, school sport, Ivanhoe Edge experiences and community engagement. Visitors will gain insight into the architectural vision behind the building, the engineering challenges overcome during construction, and the important role the facility plays in the educational journey of Ivanhoe Grammar School students.
