End to a great summer season

Six Ivanhoe Grammar School sporting teams made it into the final round and were in contention for a premiership right up to the last round and in the case of swimming, right up to the last races of the program. Repeating last year’s AGSV success (four premierships in the summer season) was always going to be difficult but students can be proud of the efforts they put in throughout this demanding summer season.

Of the six teams, the boys’ First's tennis team and the girls’ First's softball teams went the closest. The tennis boys lost by just one rubber and the softball girls missed out by just one point.

The girls and boys swimming teams both finished second and the boys’ badminton and boys’ volleyball teams won their preliminary finals to finish third overall. Our congratulations are extended to all the students who helped keep Ivanhoe at the forefront of the AGSV competition.

We also congratulate the following students on being selected in an AGSV representative team.
