Cadet Promotions 2013
Each year students participating in the Cadet program can elect to take on leadership positions within the Cadet Unit. Students serving in senior positions take on responsibility for a group of younger cadets and must develop and display strong leadership skills in order to be promoted to these roles. The training and assessment for these positions is undertaken in the weeks leading up to the annual Promotions Camp, which this year was held from Saturday 20 July to Tuesday 23 July at Lord Somers. Cadets from both campuses continued their leadership training over the four days of the camp, which culminated in the graduation parade. At the parade, the Principal announced the names of the students who were being promoted to senior positions and awarded their insignia of rank.,, ,,Serving in senior leadership positions is a great honour and responsibility.
