2026 Plenty Campus Art and Design Exhibition

The creativity, imagination and skill of our students were celebrated at the annual Plenty Campus Art and Design Exhibition, held early in Term 4. The exhibition provided a wonderful opportunity for the School community to come together and experience an impressive collection of student work across Art, Art Making and Exhibiting, Product Design and Technology, Media and Visual Communication Design.

Across the exhibition, students demonstrated their creativity through a diverse range of mediums and approaches. Art students presented paintings, ceramics, prints and Indigenous-inspired artworks, while Media students showcased their ability to think laterally and flexibly, bringing creative ideas to life while working within challenging timeframes.

Product Design and Technology students responded to a variety of design challenges, creating pieces ranging from indoor furniture to toys and incorporating techniques including 3D printing and laser cutting. Visual Communication Design students explored environmental, product and communication design, producing architectural projects, posters, logos, interactive experiences and more.

A highlight of this year’s exhibition was welcoming back past student and artist Kat Rae (Class of 1999), who officially opened the exhibition and judged the Randal Marsh Art and Design Awards. Kat was particularly impressed by the quality of work on display and the creative opportunities available to students at Ivanhoe Grammar School.

The Exhibition Opening also provided an opportunity to recognise students through a number of awards. Congratulations to this year’s recipients:

The Annual Art and Design Exhibition is a special opportunity to celebrate the creativity of our students and recognise the thought, experimentation and dedication behind their work. Congratulations to all students whose work was exhibited and to the teachers who supported them throughout the year.
