Great Win by Ivanhoe’s Basketball Team
Ivanhoe’s Baskteball Team triumphed over Marcellin on Saturday 22 of October in a thrilling match. The match was tightly contested with the scores level for most of the game. The Ivanhoe boys played with enormous tenacity to be up by 6 points with just two minutes to play. However Marcellin took their opportunities in these hectic last minutes to get within 2, but the Ivanhoe team steadied well and took out the game!
Whilst all the boys contributed at some stage, Max Dreher dominated the mid court. The team ws made up of: Lachlan Jepson (cap), Max Dreher, Isaac Abrahams, Rhys Begeman, Thomas Debney, Mackenzie Graham, Nathan Howard, Oscar McIntyre, Noah Mcshanag-Munn and Jamil Wright.
The Table tennis boys kicked off their season with a good win over Yarra Valley and the Badminton Team played admirably but unfortunately didn’t get a win on the day. Both the tennis and cricket games were washed out.
