2026 Graduate Art & Design Exhibition

Congratulations to all our Year 12 Art and Design students for a magnificent Graduate Art exhibition this year. The exhibition was held throughout the visual arts spaces in ArtsEdge, where studios were filled with a wide variety of works from the subject disciplines of IB Visual Arts, Art Making and Exhibiting, Product Design and Technology, Media and Visual Communication Design.

The opening night was a tremendous success with a celebratory atmosphere as we all stopped to recognise and celebrate the achievements of the class of 2026. Staff and students were overwhelmed with gratitude for the huge turnout of guests, including family and friends. This year, the Randall Marsh Awards were judged by Ivanhoe Grammar alumnus Randall Marsh, founder of the internationally renowned Wood Marsh Architecture studio. Wood Marsh is the architectural practice behind the Fraser Centre, which is currently under construction at Ivanhoe Grammar School. A highly respected figure in the fields of architecture and design, Randall enjoyed returning to Ivanhoe and was impressed by both the exceptional standard of student work and the quality of the school’s Art and Design facilities.

We would like to acknowledge the generous support of the Old Ivanhoe Grammarians Association (OIGA), and in particular Kirsty Hooper, Head of Development at Ivanhoe Grammar School, who presented the award on the evening. The support of the OIGA enabled this award to be offered and helps foster meaningful connections between our students and the wider creative community. Through opportunities such as these, our emerging artists and designers are encouraged and supported as they move into the next stage of their artistic and design practice.

This year we were excited to announce the inaugural Principal’s Award, where an artwork is chosen by the school principal to be part of the school’s art collection. We are pleased to announce the following prestigious award winners:
