International Baccalaureate Results

We would like to congratulate our IB Dux Sync Liu who received a Perfect Score of 45 which translates to the highest possible attainable ATAR of 99.95.  The Ridgeway Campus  2019 Captains Mila Simkus and Jethro Worsam were awarded joint Proxime Accessit achieving an IB score of 44. This is equivalent to an ATAR of 99.85 and places them in the top 0.15% of the State.

The consolidated results now show that students completing their Year 12 studies at Ivanhoe Grammar School in 2019 have again performed to a high standard with many achieving their personal best.

Once again, congratulations to our Dux of VCE at each campus in each receiving exceptional results alongside Sync Liu. Well done Alex Fan from Ivanhoe Campus who achieved an ATAR of 99.05 and Amy Reddrop from Plenty Campus who achieved an ATAR of 99.30.

Congratulations is extended to all our students from both campuses, as we achieved on a consolidated basis (VCE and IB):

  • 23% of our Year 12 students achieved an ATAR of 95 or above, placing them in the top 5% of the State
  • 41% achieved an ATAR of 90 (top 10% of the State)
  • 69% achieved an ATAR of 80 or above (top 20% of the State)
  • 87.90 is the ATAR median for our students
  • there were 71 combined perfect VCE subject scores and IB grades of 7 (highest possible grade).

As an open-entry school, students of all abilities are a part of our School community. Although the results above share some of our top achievements, the importance of celebrating the personal best of all our students cannot be underestimated. I congratulate all students, young people full of character, who have worked to their capacity and thank the dedicated teaching staff who have supported them.

Further details about our Year 2019 results and student destinations will be published in February 2020 after all university offers have been made to our students.

We are extremely proud of our Class of 2019, as exemplary Ivanhoe Learners, and wish them success in their future endeavours.
