Night of Notables

On Thursday 20 October students dressed up as their favourite characters and took part in a parade and presentation. The Night of Notables is a major research and presentation piece primarily coming from the English and Humanities Departments but with input from additional subject areas.

Each student selected their notable character, researched and prepared a formal oral presentation that was given in an English class as well as an evening presentation during Term 4. From the research, students presented character strengths, timeline or history of important events in the notable’s life, fun facts and quotes.

This year students were engaging as their notable characters and impressed everyone with their knowledge about their lives and work. The Year 7’s put in a fantastic effort with their costumes and it was enjoyable to see the character’s brought to life.

This annual event wouldn’t be possible without the dedicated teams of teachers and parents behind the scenes. A big thank you to everyone involved.
