Australian Scout Medallion
Congratulations to Year 9 student Ethan Clare who was awarded the Australian Scout Medallion in front of hundreds of people at a ceremony on Saturday 19 November. This is the highest award earned by Scouts in the 11 to 14 year-old member’s bracket and a significant achievement by Ethan.
Leadership, organisation, drive, determination, resilience and high-level practical Scouting knowledge are all attributes that Ethan had to display and put into action in order to receive this award.
Ethan will go on and continue his scouting as a Venturer with the 1st Greenhills Scout Group. Ethan’s scouting activities demonstrate Leadership and Community Service which align with the School’s Round Square Pillars. Well done Ethan on this wonderful achievement.
