Ivanhoe Grammar School has a proud history of academic success and most students proceed to university study.
The educational program provides students with a wide range of subject choice and co-curricular programs, which assists in developing students' talents, and most importantly, helps develop high levels of proficiency in English.
Pathways within the School
Boys and girls may be enrolled at any primary or secondary level, progressing to study either the VCE or the IB in their final years. Most international students spend time in the ELICOS (Intensive English) Program before moving to mainstream classes. At Years 11 and 12 all students choose from the courses listed above.
Pathways to University
Ivanhoe Grammar School has strong links with the best Australian universities, particularly with the University of Melbourne through its Melbourne Schools Partnership International (MSPI). International students graduating from Ivanhoe Grammar School are guaranteed entry to many undergraduate courses at the University of Melbourne, provided they meet the University’s Guaranteed Academic Entry Standards.
