Tertiary Offers
17 Jan 2012
After what felt like an extremely long wait since receiving their ATAR and IB scores, graduates of the Class of 2011 were finally rewarded for their hard work when they were able to check their first round tertiary offers on the Herald Sun and The Age websites at 4.00pm on Monday 16 January.
The Herald Sun spoke to graduates Erin Phillips, co-captain of Plenty Campus in 2011 and Andy Griffith, prefect at Plenty Campus in 2011, to find out their reactions to the offers they received.
It was good news all round as both Erin and Andy were able to secure places at their preferred courses with Erin accepting a place to study Law at Monash University and Andy accepting a place to study Biomedicine at The University of Melbourne. It was a great achievement by both students, as they were heavily involved in school life in 2011 and took on extra responsibilities.
Pick up a copy of today's Herald Sun to read about Erin and Andy's reactions as well to see a list of all tertiary offers made.
Ivanhoe Grammar School is extremely proud of the Class of 2011 and wishes them the best of luck in their endeavours in 2012 and beyond.
Second round offers will be made on Friday 3 February.
