New School Leaders

Last week the new School Captains and Vice Captains as well as House and Co-curricular Leaders were inducted at special assemblies held at both Campuses.
The Captain for The Ridgeway Campus is Xavier Agostino, a great role model for the other students having won peer leadership and outdoor education leadership awards. Xavier has also received Colours for School and Community Service, Debating and Water Polo and is a very popular student with both teachers and classmates.
The Vice Captain for The Ridgeway Campus is Hayley Garvey, whose brother Heath was also Vice Captain two years ago. Hayley is one of Ivanhoe's sports stars having been awarded Colours for Water Polo and Basketball as well as Senior Representation in Volleyball. Hayley is a very active member of Ivanhoe's Cadets which will serve her well in this new leadership role.
The Captain for the Plenty Campus is Michael Mitris who is an active member of Cadets and the Football and Athletics teams. Michael is very involved in School life winning Colours for Drama Production and Community Service and is a high academic achiever having been awarded Dux of his year level in 2008 and a First Rhodes Award in 2009.
The Vice Captain for Plenty Campus is Emma Scoular who has won awards in many diverse areas such as Academic Achievement, Debating, Drama, School Service, Outdoor Education and Languages. A Plenty Campus student since Grade 4, Emma has taken a very active part in School life and has shown many great leadership qualities which will make her a great Vice Captain to the School.
