First day of school!

Another new school year began today with students returning, and many new students arriving, to begin the exciting journey of 2012.
Perhaps the most exciting additions to Ivanhoe Grammar School are the new Prep students who began their schooling with anxious parents dropping them off in the morning. The young students quickly settled into their new surroundings with their teachers helping them become familiar with the school.
Year 7 students started a day early to become familiar with their surroundings and structures as well as to build connections with teachers and class mates. They took part in many fun activities, such as a photographic race around the school, and had many briefings on how life will be in secondary school.
Everyone is looking forward to another great year, with events coming up in Term 1 including Night of Notables, 'A Night at the Races' at Plenty Campus and The Ridgeway Campus production of 'Chicago' it is a very busy and productive time for the school.
