Karen and Yvonne have been working within education for over 20 years. Their primary emphasis is in the area of improving communication and workplace performance and increasing job satisfaction. They present sessions jointly as it allows them to role play the specific strategies being suggested. It also allows for more one-to-one coaching and gives a variety of presentation styles. Participants comment on the highly practical nature of their workshops.

Both Karen and Yvonne began their careers as classroom teachers. Yvonne has since worked as a psychologist and Karen lectures in teacher education at Victoria University.
