Deb Sukarna is the Head of Primary Education/Deputy Principal at Ivanhoe Grammar School.
She has been a leading educator for 27 years and has presented professional development programs for State, Catholic and Independent schools. She has worked in the United States, was Principal of a bilingual Balinese community school and has co-authored a number of books on literacy education. She developed the ‘Writer's Notebook' strategy which is used extensively across Victorian schools.
Deb is an experienced and dedicated professional and her seminars give practical instruction for teachers on classroom practice.
