The Gold Award

The Gold Round Square Award

To attain the Gold Round Square Award, students choose to focus on three Round Square pillars, showing a commitment to each of the areas chosen for a minimum of 30 hours per pillar for two pillars and 40 hours for the third pillar, over a minimum of three months. As with the Silver Award, activities can be completed individually or as part of a team and must be completed while students are in Years 10 to 12.

Students will:

  • Choose the three Round Square pillars they wish to focus on
  • Find activities that focus on those pillars and discuss their choices with their Pastoral Teacher
  • Commit at least 30 hours to two pillars and 40 hours to the third pillar over a minimum of three months
  • Complete the activity during Years 10 to 12
  • Keep an accurate record book, validated by the appropriate supervisors, of time spent on each activity.

Once the activity/program is completed, students will:

  • Complete a personal reflection
  • Have their Pastoral Teacher sign off final validation of the record book and personal reflection.
